I am really thankful to gagasceria discovering English for tortured me ahaha I'm kidding for these past 3 years of those hard learning making all those efforts halah. Anyway mau share sedikit ya terutama untuk adult atau anak SMA dan kuliah yang ingin refresh sebenernya kalau belajar bahasa Inggris itu harus mulai dari mana, even for conversation etc I think you should learn these first:
1. PART OF SPEECH (kelas atau jenis kata)
Ada 8 jenis kata dalam bahasa Inggris yang sebenarnya hampir sama dengan bahasa Indo tapi karena perlu tau istilah nya maka hal ini yang harus dipelajari, apa saja:
PRONOUN (kata ganti orang): I WE YOU SHE HE IT THEY WE
NOUN (kata benda): banyak ya gampangnya lihat sekitar anda :)
VERB (kata kerja): COOK EAT SLEEP DRINK .. melakukan pekerjaan/ sesuatu ..
ADJECTIVE (kata sifat): BEAUTIFUL HANDSOME CLEVER SMART ..
ADVERB: yang sering dipakai kata keterangan tempat dan waktu, NOW TOMORROW, AT THE SCHOOL, AT HOME ..
*itu dulu yang wajib diketahui yang lainnya learning by doing
2. HOW TO MAKE SIMPLE SENTENCE
Bahasa Indonesia memang lebih mudah karena selain bahasa ibu yang dipakai sehari, struktur bahasanya juga memang tidak sekomplek bahasa Inggris tapi lebih ribet bahasa India, Mandarin, Korea dan sebangsanya yang hurufnya bukan alfabet haha.
Kalau masih ingat cara membuat kalimat pasti diawali dengan subjek+kata kerja+ .. sama dgn English,
Subject (pronoun or noun) +
Verb (kata kerja/ tobe) + Adjective (sifat)/ Noun + Adverb ...
Contoh:
I cook noodle in the kitchen.
She is a teacher in the school.
He reads a book everyday.
3. TENSES (Kala/ Waktu)
Nah ini biasanya yang orang-orang suka keluhkan, ada 16 tenses tapi untuk awal pelajari dulu 3 tenses yaitu:
PRESENT TENSE
